Who We Are

Pneuma Life School of Ministry (PLSM) is an affiliate of Agape Family Worship Center and in partnership with Oral Roberts University’s School of Lifelong Learning Education. It is dedicated to the preparation of men and women for the manifold ministries of Christ and His Church.

What Do We Offer

PLSM offers courses to help students achieve a 33-credit Diploma of Theological Studies. Students can receive a short-term specialized 19-credit certificate in one of the following areas: Christian Workers Certificate, Christian Education Certificate, Biblical Studies Certificate, Christian Missions Certificate, General Theological Studies Certificate and our newly offered Christian Care Giving Certificate.

Course Descriptions

NEW TESTAMENT SURVEY - DBIB 120

This course is an examination of the New Testament and of the historical, social, economic, and religious background out of which Christianity arose.

BIBLICAL INTERPRETATION (HERMENEUTICS) - DBIB 400

A study of the problems and methods of biblical interpretation, including the factors of presuppositions, grammar, literary and historical context, and the appropriate handling of various kinds of literature found in the Bible.

CHURCH ADMINISTRATION - DPRM 460

This course teaches the duties of ministry, personal management, the nature of leadership as it relates to leading in the church, managing people, management in church and strategic planning.

EVANGELISM - DPRM 430

A course dealing with the evangelistic dimensions of the pastoral ministry in preaching, counseling, teaching, visitation, and training the laity for outreach.

CHRISTIAN FAITH AND MINISTRY - DTHE 230

This is a cursory exploration of the biblical truths and teachings of the Christian church. Emphasis is placed on the charismatic interpretation of these truths.

SIGNS AND WONDERS I - DTHE 399

This course is designed to allow students to study the manifestation of signs and wonders in the history of the church, to learn from those servants of God whose ministries are characterized by signs and wonders, and to experience signs and wonders in their own lives and ministries.

MINISTRY PRACTICUM - DPRM 320

(1 Credit requirement for an advanced certificate) The purpose of this ministry practicum is to provide the student with practical experience in ministerial responsibilities and in a broad range of roles performed in ministry. Trainees gain competence in essential areas of local church ministry.

Upcoming Events

Student Orientation and Book Distribution

Student Orientation will be held on Sunday September 11th from 11:30 to 1:00 PM at the Agape Campus.   Virtual Student Orientation will be held on Thursday September 8th at 6:30 pm for out-of-town students. All interested students must attend one of the Student Orientation Sessions and are urged to complete their Registration Form and return to the Registrar via email at [email protected] prior to Orientation.   

Students will be allowed to take up to two courses per term.

Books will be distributed at the Agape Campus on Sunday September 11th between the hours of 11:30 to 1:00 PM.  Books will be packaged and ready for pickup upon payment of book fees.   All students must comply with FACECOVERING mandates and adhere to social distancing protocols.
