Dr. Lawrence Powell

Lawrence Raphael Powell is the Senior Pastor of Agape Family Worship Center in Rahway, New Jersey. Countless testimonies of hope, healing and transformation pour in from those being touched and liberated through Agape’s outreach efforts.

A much sought-after speaker, respected Biblical teacher and author, Lawrence earned a Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, a Master’s degree from Oral Roberts University and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University. It is obvious to all who know him that he is preparing and positioning a mighty generation of leaders at Agape. It is a generation of world changers, poised to advance and expand the Kingdom for the glory of God. Lawrence is also the doting father of three young adults—Adria Janelle, Aaron Raphael and Ashlyn Gabrielle.

Derek Grier’s most recent God-inspired initiative, National Unity Weekend, was founded to position the Christ-centered church as a pivotal force in guiding society toward racial unity. Addressing the diverse needs of American communities through both Gospel teachings and practical service, National Unity Weekend is celebrated each second weekend in the month of June.

Derek and his wife, Yeromitou, reside in northern Virginia and have two adult sons: Derek Jr., David, and daughter-in-law Debby.

Pastor David W. McLendon

David McLendon graduated from Georgia Southern in 87′, married Elena here at New Covenant, and then moved to Tulsa to earn his Master’s degree from Oral Roberts University. He recently returned to live in Georgia after spending 23 years in ministry in Oklahoma, Texas and Mexico. Pastor David has worked in Christian ministry for over 40 years in a diverse set of environments; from church planting to mega-church staff pastor. His professional roles have included church planter, overseer of pastors, youth pastor, missionary, professor and conference speaker. His ministry has led him to preach in over 25 countries. He now lives in Statesboro with his lovely wife Elena; they have three children and five granddaughters.

Pastor Jeffrey Smith

Pastor Jeffrey Smith is the Lead Pastor of Strong Tower Church in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Strong Tower is a thriving congregation located just south of Washington D.C. It is a place of restoration and hope for people from all walks of life. Today it continues to make significant impact throughout the central Virginia region and around the world. Pastor Smith’s communication style is passionate, practical and engaging. His focus is on reaching people with the empowering message of Jesus Christ, developing leaders and building the local church.

Pastor Smith received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Bowling Green State University and a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Regent University. Pastor Smith has a passion for helping pastors and leaders push their vision forward. As President of JSS Consulting Inc., he helps today’s leaders reach new heights in ministry. He is also a certified executive coach through the world renowned Hudson Institute of Coaching in Santa Barbara, California. His extensive corporate and ministry background has made him uniquely qualified to assist pastors and leaders in reaching their next level. After years of working with pastors and leaders he has developed keen insight in the areas of strategic planning, leadership development, systems implementation and enhancing staff productivity. He is sought after internationally for his expertise in consulting leaders and helping them realize their untapped potential.

In addition, Pastor Smith serves as Director of Cornerstone Global Network under the leadership of Bishop Michael Pitts. It is a network of over 80 churches throughout the United States, Mexico, and the U.K.

Bishop Derek Grier

Derek Grier currently serves as the founding pastor of Grace Church in Dumfries, Virginia. The church began in 1998 with 12 people and under his leadership, has grown to more than 10,000 members and has over 40 life-changing ministries. In late 2023, he initiated Derek Grier Ministries on various social media platforms, reaching millions of viewers monthly. His radio and television broadcasts have also gained a substantial audience both in the United States and around the globe.

‌Grier was ordained a bishop in 2008 by the late Dr. Myles Munroe. He currently mentors hundreds of Christian leaders and business owners through the Renaissance Leadership Network (RLN).

Bishop Grier’s uncompromising approach to preaching and teaching the gospel has helped him lead Grace Church in phenomenal growth. In 2023 Grace was listed in Outreach Magazine's annual "100 Fastest Growing Churches in America" as the 5th fastest growing church in the United States, with the 2nd greatest percentage gain across the 100 fastest growing churches.

‌In 2011, Grier founded Virginia Christian College, a highly respected institution for Christian education. He currently assumes the role of Chancellor, with Dr. Courtney McBath serving as the President. Grier is well-published and his most recent publication, "When God Stops," was released by Thomas Nelson Publishing in August of 2019.
