Pandemic Relief Food Drive

Master’s Commission is pleased to announce Agape’s next Pandemic Food Relief Event is Saturday, May 15th at 10 am. Kindly share this information with anyone needing food assistance.

Event Details

  • There is a limit of 2 families per vehicle. 

  • Please clear out vehicle trunk prior to arrival to make room for food boxes.

  • Refrigerate any perishable items shortly after distribution.

  • Event will take place rain or shine.

What OUR People Need to Know About COVID-19 Vaccines

Saturday, May 15 from 11 am – 12:15 pm

Join us on Saturday, May 15th from 11 am – 12:15 pm via Zoom. Our black and brown communities have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 and have lower confidence when it comes to COVID-19 vaccines given deep-rooted mistrust in the government and medical community. However, it’s important that we all get the facts on COVID-19 vaccines, so we can help save more lives and one day get past this pandemic. So this workshop will feature a medical expert to help explain COVID-19 Vaccines and answer questions that are on the hearts and minds of people in our community. We will also feature a few testimonials of people who have gotten vaccinated in our community and share a few helpful resources from the Ad Council’s COVID-19 Vaccine Education Campaign.

  • Speaks nationally at events on COVID-19 / vaccines / etc.
  • Father died from COVID-19 and her sister suffered from it too so she has lots of great personal stories

April Schedule

Join us every Saturday at 9 am for our FREE Virtual Fitness Class. Listed below is our April schedule.

April 10

Bootcamp with John McClure

This class is a fun mixture of aerobic and strength training exercises with intervals of agility and speed drills. It uses timed bursts of intense activity alternated with intervals of lighter activity

April 17

Flexibility, Balance and Core with Michelle

This class will focus on improving stability, creating a strong core, improving posture and balance. Modifications for all levels will be demonstrated.

April 24

Weight Training with John McClure

Get your weights ready. This class encompasses weighted and body weight exercises to gain muscle mass, while achieving cardiovascular endurance. This class targets all muscle groups by engaging in dynamic and isometric movements. (Non weight options will be demonstrated)

SPECIAL BONUS April 24th (Immediately following the 9am class); 10 – 10:20 am
Stay after for FITT TALK with John. He will discuss THE IMPORTANCE OF WEIGHT TRAINING. John will lead a discussion on the do’s and don’ts of weight training. This is a discussion you don’t want to miss!

M arch is nationally known as women’s history month. To commemorate this month AGAPE‘s Women’s Ministry we would like to honor the tremendous efforts of women working the front lines during a worldwide pandemic. Join us every Saturday at 9 am for our FREE Virtual Fitness Class. Listed below is our March schedule.

March 6

Chair Cardio with Michelle Foreman

This class has all of the benefits of a standard cardio class, but with reduced pressure on your joints. You will work your arms, legs, and abs while you challenge your cardiovascular system. This class is perfect for active agers, those new to exercise or recovering from an injury. Experienced exercisers will also get a great workout with up-level options. Great class for all levels.

March 13

Circuit Training with Fee King

This class involves endurance training, resistance training, high-intensity aerobics, and exercises performed in a series of circuits. It targets strength building and muscular endurance.

Run & Tone with Michelle Foreman

This class will get your heart pumping and body toned with indoor walk / run intervals and body weight toning exercises.  Whether you are preparing for a Spring 5k or just looking to increase your overall fitness level – this class is the perfect FITT for you.
