February 13

Bootcamp w/ John Mcclure

This class is a fun mixture of aerobic and strength training exercises with intervals of agility and speed drills. It uses timed bursts of intense activity alternated with intervals of lighter activity.

February 20

Kickboxing / HIIT with Michelle Foreman

This class combines kickboxing with HIIT training (high-intensity interval training) that alternates short bursts of a higher intensity exercise with low-intensity recovery periods.

This position is a full-time hourly position, requiring an average of 40-50 hours per week.

Maintenance Director

Responsibilities:  The Maintenance Director will perform duties such as

  1. Serves as the primary point of contact for all things dealing with building maintenance
  2. Leads in planning, coordinating and executing a preventative maintenance program and managing maintenance budget
  3. Leads in keeping the building up to code and in compliance with legal and state regulations
  4. Coordinates and is point person for all building and equipment inspections
  5. Manages upkeep of grounds and sidewalks
  6. Coordinates jobs requiring outside contractors, getting quotes/bids and being the point of contact throughoutthe job
  7. Shares in minor repairs and improvements (clogged toilets, leaking faucets, blown light bulbs, building furnishings, etc.)
  8. Manages and performs monthly/bi-monthly maintenance check list (Air filters, urinal cakes, air fresheners, etc.)
  9. Manages the work load scheduling for maintenance assistant
  10. Coordinates scheduling with cleaning crew and maintain a detailed check list of duties
  11. Leads in opening and closing the facility on scheduled days of work
  12. Share in preparing the church is ready for Wednesday and Sunday services
  13. Assist ministries with events (set up, clean up after, etc.)
  14. Manages the scheduling of calendar events for the different ministries of the church
  15. Respond to room availability inquiries and coordinate room reservation requests
  16. Being on call for emergencies such as flooding or alarm issues
  17. Manage shipping and receiving
  18. Share in organizing major conferences hosted at Agape Family Worship Center
  19. Maintain a safe, orderly work area and work practices.
  20. Order, maintain and organize an adequate inventory of building supplies
  21. Setting up sound equipment for ministry and outside events
  22. Share in security responsibilities for church as well as DASH
  23. Perform other miscellaneous tasks and/or special projects assigned by the Sr. Pastor.

Qualifications: 

  1. High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
  2. Minimum of 2 years maintenance management
  3. Ability to perform under high pressure and multitask
  4. Should be able to red blueprints
  5. Demonstrates a strong desire for quality and attention to detail
  6. Must able to lift 75 pounds alone
  7. Ability to operate a scissor lift and articulated lifts
  8. Flexible with work schedule to assist with special events held in evenings and/or on weekends
  9. Ability to work in a collaborative manner as a member of a team
  10. Must be able to do overtime

Hours of Position: This position is a full-time hourly position, requiring an average of 40-50 hours per week.

Work Schedule:  Monday thru Friday, 9:00 am – 6:30 pm. *May include occasional evening and/or weekend hours​​

Reports To:  Sr. Pastor

January Pandemic Relief Volunteers

JANUARY FOOD DISTRIBUTION

Volunteers Needed

We are in need of volunteers to assist with receiving deliveries, preparing and distributing food boxes for the Agape Food Distribution event on January 16th.

To participate, please send an email to [email protected]. All weekday preparation is conducted in the Children’s Church.

Distribution Day

Saturday, January 16th – Volunteers report from 8:30 am – 12 noon (Time includes setup & cleanup)

Work areas include Setup, Registration, Traffic Control, Loading Cars, Replenishing, Food Handling, and Clean Up. Please report to the Fellowship Hall entrance in the rear of the parking lot.

Food Distribution Program Is Seeking Your Help

ShopRite is having its CAN-CAN sale but they limit purchases by an individual. We are asking you to donate specific canned and packaged goods that YOU would purchase at your local ShopRite or another store of your choice.

If you would like to participate in this donation drive, please send an email to: [email protected] with the subject: “Donate” and include the “dollar amount” indicating how much you like to purchase. A list of needed items will be emailed back to you with instructions regarding when and where to drop off your donations.

If you can’t get out to shop, and would just like to donate—please use the PushPay app and select “Missions” and Your gift will go toward our Master’s Commission Food Distribution program

Agape Food Distribution COVID-19 Safety Procedures:

Please clear the trunk prior to arriving to ensure space for the food boxes. Food Boxes will ONLY be placed in the vehicle’s trunk NOT Inside the vehicle. Pickup is limited to 2 households per vehicle. Masks are required. On-site registration is required for first-time recipients.
